General Chuikov was a determined leader that would not stop attacking. Eventually, Chuikov led a strong counterattack and pushed the Germans out of Stalingrad.
General Friedrich Paulus- German 6th army
General Paulus was described as obedient and dependable. General Paulus was ordered to attack Stalingrad, and he attacked with full force. General Paulus had planes bomb Stalingrad, and killed about 40,000 civilians in a two day air raid. The Germans almost won Stalingrad, but they were surrounded by the Red Army and surrendered.
